Eric has a degree in classical guitar performance from USC’s esteemed Thornton School of Music where he studied with the chair of the department, Professor James Smith. Formerly director of the Santa Monica Conservatory’s classical guitar program, Eric developed a thriving classical guitar community during his time at the school. His students have won major awards including first place in the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America competition (10 and under division), first place in the Diamond Bar guitar festival, third place in the Pacific Guitar Competition, and two of his students have been recognized as best in the State of California through the Royal Conservatory Development Program. Eric is the first and only guitar teacher in the Music Teachers Association of California (Santa Monica branch) and serves as a consultant (and proponent) for the development of a Nationally recognized guitar CM exam.     

Eric is also an active video game composer. His games and music have been featured on FOX LA and PC Gamer. He has collaborated with members of the LA Philhamonic as well as Emmy nominated composer Robert Lydecker. His recent work includes contributions to the Playstation mega hit God of War as well the Marvel show Iron Fist.
